Hi folks,

back in Novembre I mounted the LeTech ladder on my Gren, the lock and hook for the belt to secury the jerry can looks in the meantime really ugly.
The lock has already some rust on it.

I just contacted LeTech and showed them the pictures and they told me, that their supplier told them, that the part are stainless, be now way.
They will check again and investigate this.

The seen corrosion is clear.

So, if you have the same issue, get in contact with LeTech...

How do you like the LeTech Ladder versus the OEM Grenadier Ladder. It makes sense to use it for fuel carrying. I was wondering if you could fit a Rotoplex tank behind the OEM ladder.

Stainless can still rust.

I’m assuming the salt/brine on the roads, plus the untreated steel did that? I’ll be interested to hear how they take care of you.

BTW: I’d suggest using one-wrap or in a pinch duc-tape to secure your strap instead of a zip tie. Over time the tie will fray your strap as it flaps in the wind.

I like it a lot, but I don‘t carry a jerry can. I use it as a simple ski rack…

As far as I've seen, everything LeTech has to be ordered and shipped from them directly. Their stuff is quite pricey.
Which I would consider under the circumstances it's high quality and last forever - however this is the second post with issues on their ladder quality in terms of rust etc.
bit disappointing in that price segment.

No way that steel buckle is stainless. unless you mean chinesium variety, the sort that rusts quickly.
