I’m enjoying my Fieldmaster (NSW Australia based) and almost at 10,000km. My only issues:-
1. a bunch of warning lights coming on for no reason which takes cruise control out of action.
2. Apple Maps running/updating very slowly when connected via Apple car play. It seems to need me to be almost stationary to update location.

Are these common problems?

Hiya Millie,

Welcome to the forum!

For point 1/ above, I’ve had this happen once on my vehicle - Cruise control cutting out, followed by ESC and TSA warnings, downhill and uphill assists not available, and one or two other errors (reduced braking performance error or something). Research on here, and on Facebook, and ringing the dealer up, suggested to me several potential problems:
* speed sensor-related issue - possibly caused by wheel alignment. So I went and had a wheel alignment done at a Pedders store, and they made some tweaks.
* grounding issue in a wire somewhere
* A TSA related to a wire bundle near the steering pump rubbing and fraying (could also be a cause of this grounding issue).

After the wheel alignment, I’ve not seen the cruise control issue again. It’s to be noted that these issues clear on vehicle restart, so you can get cruise control back.

For point 2/ above, this is a known issue, and fixed via a software update. So you should take your Gren back to the dealer to fix the TSA issues and do software updates (you’re close to the 15k service anyway).

Cheers!

1/ could also signify a Steering Control Module fault. We had ours fail; symptoms were initially intermittent as described.
