Hi,
Living in Austria, driving all different Land Rocers since years, but loving my old Defender 90 especially, I really got amazed about the Grenadier. I had a very short test drive in Vienna and really got keen on this vehicle. The Grenadier seems to have the aura of the Defender but seems not to have all the small disadvantages. I am seriousely bearing in mind to go for a new Grenadier……

Hi, actually we have 4 dealers in Austria - not really many. Price all taxes included approx. f….. € 115.000,-……

Yes, since we have 20% VAT plus 42% environment tax…… completely grazy.

42% tax on top of the 20? So a 100,000€ truck becomes 120 and then 170,000?! That’s insane.

The 20% seems crazy in the first place (my sales tax rate will be 7%) but 42% of anything being added to the price of something can never be a good thing for the consumer.
