Noticed a few comments about heaters and wondered if it is a recognised problem? The heater in my Grenadier was good but now it has only cold air. Anyone else had this? Will take it to a service centre to have it checked over.

No heat usually means one or more of your coolant circuits are down on levels. Check the high and low temperature levels, (coolant caps on each side of the engine), and top up to level, (or more likely, get the dealer to do that). It is supposed to be a closed system, so any fluid loss is a problem.

The coolant bleeding procedure involves a lot of fast idling, so make sure there is plenty of fuel in the vehicle before it goes to the dealer.

Put in on manual fan, adjust airflow setttings to something else and it should work.

Basically Auto doesn’t know if it wants to blow hot or cold. Or sometimes both.
