Expedition HQ has piqued my interest of late. It looks like they have developed a 10% GVM 3800kg (not GCM) upgrade kit using 35mm lifted Eibach springs with either Koni or Kings shock absorbers. For Australian owners and buyers the kit currently only appears to be available plated in QLD and NSW. 10% GVM upgrades are generally the easiest to be certified in QLD with only changes to the springs and shocks for most live axle vehicles however at the increased GVM there is an equal decrease in towing ATM as there is no increase in the GCM.
Hopefully for Aussie buyers a similar pre rego kit is available as soon as the Quartermaster becomes available that would legally place it to over 1000kg pay load. The extra 350kg load increase will allow a Quartermaster with the common Aussie accessories to retain it's advertised payload.
