Instead of trying to lift and not spill my 5 gallon plastic fuel cans on my paint I got a cheap (under $20 ) battery operated pump. I use it when I have to run my house off of a generator and have to refill at top mounted fuel port over a hot generator that has been running for a week due to Houston's hurricanes. Works great so now I pack it with my gas cans and a stool, which I use to get to my storage at the top edge of my rack, and just pump the gas in. From Harbor Freight so the pump is not a forever tool but one every 5-10 years isn't bad.

That's the Adblue, indicating there is a filler attached to the side of the Adblue plastic container. Something that all UK plastic Adblue containers have when sold in the UK. ( and the EU) Because of the ( relatively) common supply of Adblue for domestic cars, it is sold in plastic containers in all garages and supermarkets, in 4-10 litre plastic containers which have a spout on the side of the container

I have a problem filling my petrol Grenadier in the U.K. the fuel filler nozzle keeps clicking off when filling. I don’t remember having that problem on my African travels and don’t know whether the nozzles are a different shape in the U.K. Because of the bend in the fuel filler nozzle I can’t put the nozzle into the filler neck enough it seems to me. Filling takes an eternity as it keeps clicking off regardless of what position I hold the nozzle at or if i only partly squeeze the trigger. Yesterday for instance it clicked off at least 30 times to fill half a tank. Good job I don’t have the issue with error codes when overfilling/topping off the tank as I never know when it’s actually full until I can see fuel at the filler neck!
Do any other Petrol Grenadier owners have this issue ?

I asked the question of Ineos Australia at the beginning of the year regarding this and the reply was it needed to be bought separately.

For diesel cars in Australia, it’s a essential accessory so you can fill up from truck diesel bowsers. There a number of options available which are detailed in my unofficial manual supplement. Link in signature line.

It’s also worth getting a Adblue adaptor as well.

Cheers
Steve

In short Logsplitter, no I don’t and just to confirm mine is a petrol as well.

As a side note I have never had the error codes with over filling either.

My VIN is in the 3200’s if that helps 👍
