Anyone know if you can flat tow the IG?
We looked at getting one of these before I went the Grenadier path. AUD$365K
Go big or go home I say, well I would if I could spend this type of money on a motorhome...
Of course the wife would be driving this and I'd be in the grenadier taking the scenic route
Impressive vehicle but at an extra $240K above the price of my specced up $121K Grenadier that is a lot of camping gear and hotels I can afford.@DaveB I've rented apartments smaller than that.
6WD though, thats pretty cool, especially if you do an 8 wheel rotation including the spares...
I've got to listen again, but he mentioned putting transfer case in neutral but I can't recall whether he talked about the ZF box?
Why would you want to tow a 3 tonne vehicle behind a motor home?

Common practice in the USA. Motor homes there a different breed altogether there.
Gearbox in neutral otherwise the parking brake won't release, not sure if there's a manual cable like they have on Land Rovers to emergency release. If you have totally lost all electrical power to the vehicle then there is a bolt you can screw in on the bottom of the gearbox to release the parking brake so it can be towed.I've got to listen again, but he mentioned putting transfer case in neutral but I can't recall whether he talked about the ZF box?
Do those signs mean the vehicle can’t be towed in the event of a breakdown ?
