There is a reporting system baked into the software for members to alert the moderation staff of any inappropriate behavior, conduct or commentary as outlined in the forum guidelines and the terms and conditions of the site.
Should you think that an account has violated any of these guidelines then a report can be issued.
To report a thread simply select the option at the bottom of the relevant post and click report and fill out a description and a member of the moderation team will review, typically this is performed in less than 24h, but over weekends and during holiday periods this may take a little longer.
Should a member's account be subject to any action resulting from repeated reports being filed against them then their account will be flagged for review until the administration staff can go through each report which has been lodged.
The subject account permissions will be restricted (content viewing and the direct message function remain active) until the accumulated reports have been reassessed (reports are held on an 18 month rolling basis). Notification of any such action and a follow up advisory will be issued informing the forum member of the results of the review. Hopefully if this happens the outcome will be a reinstating of account privileges.
If a member account is closed then any financial assistance provided by the member will be refunded less any monetary benefit they have received from Grenadier works group of sites.
An advisory note is that there is an ignore function baked into the user interface and user accounts are not aware of who is ignoring them. This at times may cause misunderstanding between parties and potentially ratchets up the rhetoric. If you feel this is the case then please reach out to the individual account/s via the direct messaging system to politely ask how a particular comment was intended to be read as most are we hope, a simple misunderstanding between parties.
If you feel that there is some sort of mediation required between your account and another then please reach out and the forum Admins will open a 3 way dialogue to work things out.
