First post.

I might be jumping the gun a bit on this one. A man can dream, right?

I currently have a US spec 335d with a tuned M57D30TU2TOP with the ZF6HP28. Car itself is getting a bit long in the tooth, but the engine runs like a TOP. (pun intended)
I wonder what problems with fitment one would encounter.

Not planning on a swap until the warranty expires, but; I would love to have the 350ish HP and 600ish lb-ft in my future IG.

That would be some sweet HP and ft lb there. Wish Ineos would have given us more to those specs than we are getting.

They did it deliberately to increase chances of longevity and put torque across a more useful range for off road but should be easy to remap and tune if you don’t care about those things

Those numbers above are with a tune and a delete of all the unreliable clean-diesel equipment.
Stock numbers for the US version from the factory were 265 HP @ 4200 rpm and 425 lb-ft way down at 1750 rpm; with a very flat torque curve.

Apparently, those numbers were very conservative. Reports from when they were new had them making those numbers at the wheels.
