Hi All,

I’m currently installing a UHF into our IG. The unit is installed behind the dash in the passenger (LH) foot well & the aerial is on the LH side of our bull bar. Because we have safari windows, we unfortunately don’t have the spare grommet available to pass through the fire wall as many others have done in the past (and shown in John Canny’s YouTube)

Has anyone else discovered other great entry points into the cabin from the engine bay (without having to drill a new hole)?

Any guidance or support would be amazing - thanks in advance!

I also have safari windows.
Yes, there is another grommet near the Canny one, you need to remove the trim panel to access it easily. It's a soft rubber grommet ; I slit mine carefully so as not to damage any wires and used a flexi grab it tool to pull the cable through. My wife was a useful spotter!
