Smart fully disconnecting the driveshaft from the front cv joint. Not sure if I want to tackle the job myself though, given I have no lift nor garage wrapped around it

UPDATE: One recommended shop just quoted me labor costs of $2775 for springs, alignment, and tire mounting/balancing. What the hell. Now I'm pretty sure I want to do this job myself as long as I can find a relatively close place that can handle the alignment.
