Day One driving to SBUX this morning when I got the dreaded Engine Light!

Waiting to hear back from dealer (some 60 miles away) on what to do without causing damage. ugh.

The middle one is that the camera hasn't been able to determine the speed limit and is panicking in case you get a speeding ticket.
Not sure about sonic the hedgehog.

Yea - the other is LDW; I know about the camera; the CK Engine Light is the most distressing.

A friendly autozone etc. may let you borrow a code reader. Thread here and here about ones that can be coaxed to work.

Yesterday.

Do tell?
Known issue - there's a software update at dealers to address. But, it's my understanding that dealers will not install if the CEL is off (ie you cleared the code yourself).

That is correct, it has to be on for them to install the update. They didn't have time to update mine when I took it by dealer but they were able to save the ECU data, clear the light, and schedule me for service. He said if they clear it without saving the file, they would have to wait until it came on again to do the update.

@IneosRoadside here in 30 minutes from call. Towing to dealer some 55 miles away. HOPEFUL its simple flash update/code resolution.

Unless it is a blinking CEL, there is no reason to not drive it

If your vehicle is a 24.2 (VIN 17000 or higher), there is no software update for it yet.

The CEL shortly(ish) after fueling is a known issue, and will disable cruise control (as with most modern vehicles with a CEL illuminated).
