Inside door lock no longer works, remote lock no longer works or beeps.
Is there some kind of over ride that may have been triggered through an inadvertent sequence of button presses?
the only way to lock the doors is by manual key turn from the outside.

Make sure that all doors are fully closed (I'd open and close each one just to be sure).

There's no override or anything like that

My remote lock on the key and the button on the door because the system detects that the rear doors aren't closed properly.
The key lock does work occasionally but that usually results in the alarm going off some time after when the open door is again registered.
Ineos tell me the rear door latch needs to be adjusted.

I agree that you likely have a door open or a failed door sensor.

anand... thank you for the suggestion. that was the first thing i did... open and slam one by one... including the rear two.
inside the door lock does not work... unlock whether inside or with the remote works fine.

great... 3 hour ride for a bad door sensor... question - would a failed door sensor generate a dash warning? indicating which door?

Shut the bonnet ; drop it from at least a foot/30cm/cubit and make sure no doors/lids are highlighted on the touchscreen.

Have a Quick Look for the fuse as well. Not sure which. (I’m assuming it’s on its own circuit)

it was the hood... thank you for the clue. I took it to my long time trusted bmw mechanic, but after looking under the hood... he passed. i went back to pick up my Gren and didnt think to check it. When i pulled the arm to open the hood- a single tug unlatched it.
thanks again... issue closed.

You, like me and others , have discovered a "feature" of the Grenadier ;)

slamming doors and bonnet (hood for Americans) fixed mine..

Yes, the hood - bonnet has two states of closed. Closed and really closed. It takes a little more gravitational force for really closed. Found out the same way.
Love the quirks.

Alright guys, the lock isn’t working. Bonnet slammed shut, all doors slammed shut. Dealer is telling me to adjust small door in the back with a torx wrench but I don’t know where. Can anyone post a picture?

Thanks in advance
