I am going with Donny Grey and have been saving real-life pictures. I like that it is very dark (aka black metallic).

I have a long time to with but I hope some Donny Grey owners have theirs delivered very soon and can post some production pictures in this thread.

Here are a few pictures I like (I hope they are all DG....it is sometimes hard to tell):

It seems like Donny Grey is a really hard colour to capture. It varies hugely depending on lighting, reflection, indoors, outdoors. Its clearly not black, but a lot darker than my last Disco Sport. Where I live we have a lot of peacocks and they love sitting on black cars. Hopefully this is not a peacock magnet lol!

Agreed - here is a picture of my grenadier (still at the dealership!) Hopefully you can see the Grey aspect showing up when the Sun caught the front section. I suspect it will look like a black car in winter but come summer the Grey will show through.

Seriously though it’s a great colour. The Bowker dealer PTO on their display looks smart.

I have had DG right from the off, I chose it when it was actually a few shades lighter and stuck with it. I am still not convinced. All the colours I didn’t like I now do, the green, magic mushroom, Britannia blue !!

It’s too late to change now, and I don’t hate it, I just don’t love it. I don’t want it to be metallic black I want it to be a gun metal grey tbh.

Exactly the same for me. So went down to the dealers a couple of weeks ago to check the colour since they had a DG Trialmaster in. I'd seen all the other colours in the flesh except the one I'd ordered- DG.
The DG has a lot of mica in the paint mix. It will "change" colour with the light, I think it will look a sparkling dark grey in full sun. A colour for the long term ownership that will stand the test of time.

I would have liked the colour to be lighter. It looks very dark on a cloudy winter day…

My agent actually has a PT-02 in DG sat in the show room and it dees look dark. I am hoping it looks a little lighter in the open air, which so far is where I haven’t seen it. It will definitely be a safe colour and will match in with a lot of things for sure. I have ordered the 17” alloys which look to be a very similar colour on the website and I think do set the colour off quite nicely.

Like I say at the moment I am non-pulsed about it, and a little unsure at the minute. I certainly didn’t look at the agents vehicle and think omg what have I done.

You live in the UK so where are you going to get a sunny day?
Southern Italy is beautiful and sunny
