coated windscreen ? - tele pass transponder

I'm going to Italy soon with the Grenadier and want to use a Telepass transponder.
Does anyone know if the windshield is coated?
The Telepass transponder must be glued in the recoated area of the windshield.

I am now in port in Genoa. The telepass has worked great.
The windshield does not block the signal.
