I wanted a grippier rubber boot floor, got this from Halfords today, £20

Was quite happy with the result, very easy to trim.

That looks great. I’ll be nipping to Halfords tomorrow with my £20 in hand..

You have done a good job there Pip, looks better than some of the efforts that are made to measure on EBay

That's a good job from a standard piece.

There is usually a massive price difference between a custom fit piece from either the manufacturer or after market supplier and generic size to fit yourself.

I don’t have the L track fitted. I might cut some slits for the tie down points
Could you post a photo without the boot mat please. And also dimensions left to right tie downs and front to back tie downs. Bolt centre to centre please. Working on some concepts for touring. Much appreciated if you could. Thanks

Did you trim around the edges or tuck under the wheel arch covers?

On mine there appears to be a decent gap to tuck:

Thanks for your tip off on these mats. I’ve left some excess on y attempt to stop crap getting under the trim.. very easy job and will do until some good bespoke liners come on to the market. If I need to use the L trac or lasting points, it’ll be a very easy job to cut them in With a craft knife..

The corner bolts were 89cm wide and 73cm deep, the other bolts are 3.5cm apart from the corner bolts.

Thankyou so much! One last question related to boot, with the floor insert removed are the other tie down spots available that are in the commerical. The ones towards the back of the car on the floor are wider apart in the commercial.

It’s a good call. My dog keeps slipping around in the back. Off to Halfords this morning.

No photo but I had a look in one at the agent's and there were two Torx bolts in each corner; the assumption being you could swap them out for additional tie down rings if you wanted.

I was thinking of something similar, but to cover the rear seat backs when they're folded. Looks like that'll do!

They are Unique Products in Skegness. I have told the very helpful sales lady Jodie she might get more enquiries, and that I will send her pictures when mine arrive. Her number 01754 763457
When discussing spec's, is it worth considering the matt having a lip around three sides? Also the potential for cut-outs so if required, owners can cut out for rails?
Just looked at their website. Already making very similar products to what I would go for if designed for Grenadier.
