So I am putting together a “roadside” kit with a belt, water pump, etc and I am trying to see if anyone can confirm the crossover parts number for BMW and Toyota. I am pretty sure the B58 in the IG is the Gen 2 version B58B30 that is also used in the Supra. I called BMW and they want $330 for the water pump, but the list on the Toyota part is $190 and I get a discount at Toyota so closer to $160. I have not priced the INEOS part and I will but if I need a water pump it would be nice to be able to grab one cs chase INEOS down to get the part if I am not close to a dealer.
I have looked at the water pump on all of the variants and I don’t see a noticeable difference. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
