Hi All,

Just a message to say we have made a batch of the cargo shelves.

First batch of 10 is here. Just waiting to make up the bolt kits.

Nice one!
In terms of point of difference, I’ve found 3mm feels robust like the car more so than the 2mm ones (I made both), and doesn’t drum across such a wide span.
Other manufacturers generally seem offer a 2mm tray, and also only 1200mm wide (max width of a standard alum sheet) which don’t don’t go all the way to the egdes of the car but are much much cheaper to make as there is less wastage from a sheet. They seem to also be a two piece tray (seperate bolt on headboard) and not fully supported along the sides (shorter shelf brackets).
Hopefully this is helpful to you and your customers. Good luck ✌🏻

Is it possible to fit the shelf with the OEM cargo barrier in place? I ask as I have the half height cargo barrier which is a must for me and it uses the recessed fixtures in the headliner to attach itself, as does you shelf. Perhaps there is a workaround?

Dont all the cut out letters compromise the beam strength of the crossmember?

That looks familiar! Love it.
Did you need to change it at all, or did it fit ok?

Well this message puts things into place.

When I first saw this shelf a couple of weeks ago, my first impression was that its looks remarkably like the one you designed.

Looks like there is a reason for this 😃 👍

We have not been able to test half height barrier, but till now it has worked with all OEM configs

Tks reply. If it works with my barrier I'll buy one. I'll load some photos of the current fittings on here soon and you can make a call whether it's worth a shot or not (wait until can test it yourself) etc.

Fitted yesterday. Very happy but not sure how I could refit my original cargo barrier for those that would want to. It does work with the seats in the M1 position and with the recline brackets as sold on EBay and Amazon.

Looks very good. I think the shelf side brackets probably need modifications (reduced inwards) and one bolt to tap into the cargo barrier mount. Will have a think and look over your pics.

If you get a chance can you measure from the roof liner down to lowest point of shelf. I want to know how much (if any) space there will be from bottom of shelf to top of dog cage (TransK9).

Tks

There would be a way to work with the cargo grill if you needed to.
With a little further modification I could have this pivot up and secure against bottom of parcel shelf when not required.

That's very interesting. I've got a bit of time today to try and avoid choirs so will check that out. Tks posting.
