To me it has all the makings of a scam, or a wind up - I would contact Ineos directly

I had a call today in Portugal from Ineos who gave me the same 2024 news. The explanation for the delays (global supply chains and quality testing) didn't make sense as other locations are not impacted as badly - I suspect it has more to do with the fact that there is still not a Portuguese dealer. It was also interesting that they referred me to the fact that the additional Portuguese tax could be very high (it could almost double the cost) so I have asked if they could check if this in the case if the IG were classed as a commercial vehicle. i can't believe we will get a true delivery date until the dealer is confirmed - i am resigned to a very long wait but more concerned with the tax as that will determine whether i keep the order or not.
