Hello Grenadier Owners!

Air Down Gear Up is happy to announce we are in active development of our Ineos Grenadier drawer and sleeping platform system.

As a brief introduction to anyone who may not know us from other vehicle offerings, we specialize in making premium vehicle storage, sleeping and kitchen systems. Our system utilizes an all-aluminum frame mounted directly to the vehicle via a solid, machined aluminum 'anchor bar'. We focus on integrating as cleanly with the vehicle as possible. We want our system to enhance the appearance of your vehicle AND provide a lifetime of high performance.

We will be creating an exact fit system to perfectly compliment your Grenadier. Our system can be configured with or without the integrated, convertible sleeping platform. The sleeping platform is fast to deploy/stow and does not impact the 2nd row in any way. Since we don't yet have any pictures of the system installed in a Grenadier, i've attached a few photos showing our system in other vehicles just to provide a general visual of what our product looks like. The system in the Grenadier will be visually/functionally similiar to what's shown below.

The drawers feature full extension, ball bearing slides that provide full and easy access to all of your gear. The slides feature a lock-in and lock-out mechanism (an all-metal component for a lifetime of predictable use) to provide safe, rattle free access to your gear. We utilize a particular slide with adjustable stops, meaning there is ZERO noise from these drawers when stowed. In addition to the lock-in/lock-out mechanism, a keyed lock can also be included to prevent unwanted access to your valuables. The drawers contain 100% rattle-free, moveable dividers so you can dial in your storage exactly to your needs.

The drawers are compatible with both our slide out table and the drawer top work surface. The slide out table is a fantastic addition to the system, as it provides a great place to prepare food, stash gear, hold a drink, run a stove, anything you need! The slide out table is quick deploying and can be used with the drawer open or closed.

What additional details can I provide about what our Grenadier offering it going to be?

What drawer dimensions are you thinking? Do you plan to stay at the 7.75" to utilize the stock seat for sleeping or go with a taller drawer and a platform for above the seat?

I ask as the only real way to make this work is by utilizing a drawer style fridge so you can sleep and still have a spot for food. Unfortunately all of them are taller than the seat folded elevation. Moving the fridge, when full, to allow sleeping is just not plausible for most people due to height and weight.

The options listed on their site and their other builds give an idea of what is envisioned for the Grenadier. A drawer fridge is one of them and it looks like the sleep system folds forward, perhaps higher than the folded seats. It will be interesting to see it built out!

At risk of overstepping, I think I can answer this one. The platform is being designed to be level with the seats in their half-folded configuration -- that is, with the seat bottom still over the batteries and the back folded forward over that. This is the only way to get a sleeping platform that's long enough for most people, but also will result in more useful drawers. The exact dimensions are all being refined, but I think a drawer fridge would readily fit in the vertical dimension.
