After disconnecting and reconnecting the central power unit, tpms, diffs and airbag were signalling failures.
Everything but the red airbag error cleared out after short drive.

Does the airbag controll unit somehow react on edges in voltage changes?

So far I did not find a way, how to reset this failure message.

What do you suggest?
Did this happen to others too?

You can try disconnecting the battery again for a few minutes... I can't say anytime I've disconnected the battery I've seen an airbag light stay persistent, but strange things happen sometimes

Did you try a reset, With the key, contact on. Then after everything wakes-up, you press the mute button, and keep pressing him until the screen becomes black and the Grenadier logo reappears. I don't know, maybe it works..

Hi Minidok, is the problem the driver airbag or passenger airbag?
In my case after replacing the ECU (of course they did disconnect the battery) the passenger airbag did show deactivated. Guessing that this a bug. You would need to go to the main menu and re-activate the passenger airbag. It can only be done with ignition ON and gear box in P - you may need to wait for 12 seconds. I have done it on my own and it did work out immediately. So I think a reset will not help here. Small pic shows when passenger airbag is deactivated. 1708622978949.png

Thank you a lot @Pat this is indeed a good hint and was in my case applicable too. Though, not the only resolution needed. Warning sign was still on after the passenger air bag has been on again. only a read out and manual reset by the agent could resolve the issue completely. No damage after all.

@mihidok I had a tracker fitted and the installer did something and I also had an airbag warning, no othere wy to reset it apart from a trip to a service centre.

No returned since the visit
