I think the 18 inch wheels are also 7.5 inches wide, just like the 17s, so a 33 inch tire designed to fit that rim width should be very similar to the 33" tires people are putting on 17 inch rims.Anyone put on 33"s on 18" wheel? All I am seeing in the threads is 33" on 17" wheels?
Thanks. Just wondering what the size would be?I think the 18 inch wheels are also 7.5 inches wide, just like the 17s, so a 33 inch tire designed to fit that rim width should be very similar to the 33" tires people are putting on 17 inch rims.
275 /70 R18 would be a good starting point. Lots of variability between manufacturers, so some may be a bit bigger than 33 inches and some maybe a bit smaller. Some may not list 7.5 inch width as appropriate Rim width. Rim width will also make a bit of a difference in actual diameter. Most manufacturers will list rim width used to measure overall diameter. There is a nice post somewhere from @anand that lists how rim width changes overall diameter.Thanks. Just wondering what the size would be?
Thanks. Going to see how wide I can go on a 33.275 /70 R18 would be a good starting point. No fitment or rubbing issues. That's why they recommended 285/65 instead of 285/70. Said 285/70 would rub.Looks amazing!
Let us know if any fitment/rubbing issues, but highly doubt it.
Hi IG_in_AZ, Photos please. DaBullNice! I have 17s and went with the 295 70r17 KO2s. The extra inch or so under the axles is nice.
Any rubbing issues in the fenders or with the rear door??Nice! I have 17s and went with the 295 70r17 KO2s. The extra inch or so under the axles is nice.
Did the tire shop give you any value back for your original tires when you did the swap or did they just go into the bin?Nice! I have 17s and went with the 295 70r17 KO2s. The extra inch or so under the axles is nice. Stu's on the left with stock 265s, mine on right with 295s.View attachment 7838156
Tire shops will virtually never give you anything for tires as most don't deal in used tires. Selling them on a forum or FB marketplace should fetch a few $$$ thoughDid the tire shop give you any value back for your original tires when you did the swap or did they just go into the bin?
Some tire shops will sell them for you. They will not give you a credit.Did the tire shop give you any value back for your original tires when you did the swap or did they just go into the bin?
This is one of the great factors (and a key to Ineos' choice in tire size), they are used on a wide variety of vehicles and available globallyMy daughter has a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and the Ineos stock Bridgestone Dueler AT's were the exact same so I moved them to her vehicle. She needed new tires so it was great timing.
any issues with the rear doors? (i doubt youd do it if there was, but had to ask as i am getting new tires soon!)Nice! I have 17s and went with the 295 70r17 KO2s. The extra inch or so under the axles is nice. Stu's on the left with stock 265s, mine on right with 295s.View attachment 7838156
