Working out deal with dealer. $2,000 credit toward accessories. Got this accessory list today. Deal ends tomorrow, 7/31.

What are the must haves from the dealer?

Side runner - it's a long way up without!
Rubber mats - makes cleaning up easier
After that, I don't have a preference. When I specced mine I did not get the ladder which I now regret, (but that is not a dealer fit option).
Don't bother with the seat covers as the Ineos ones are not good enough.

Curious, was this on top of the 2.9% financing or "instead of"?
There was another thread where I wondered when they would discount the truck....maybe this is an alternative (and not a bad one:)

For dealer add-ons, I went with:
side runners - need the assist to get in.
rubber floor mats - we are on farm. So, mud for 6 months of the year.
tailgate table - we picnic a fair bit, so handy to have. (wasn't a need to have but a nice to have)
batwing awning - goes with the picnicking. (wasn't a need to have but a nice to have)
crossbars - to attach lighting to.
cargo barrier - we carry shavings and haylage bails in the back, so the barrier was sensible

We considered the LED bar but decided a third-party would be better (our current Defender has a powerful front bar and rear lighting, which is vital on the farm). The LED bar from ineos is a bit on the weedy side.

@Defender77 I'm not trying to pry but would be interested in your process in choosing the acc vs financing?
I tend to be cash and carry so I like the accessory option but....

I would get the 2.9% financing everything else is better aftermarket IMO

Rubber floor mats and spare carrier - everything else is better aftermarket. Racks, seat covers, cross-bars, awnings, side runners, rock sliders, cargo barriers, off-road lighting - I am gradually dumping almost all of my accessories and upgrading. When many of us took our deliveries, there weren’t a lot of options- now there are a ton, with equal or higher quality and better design/functionality.

I got the side steps, rubber floor mats, checker plates, fold down table and cyclone pre cleaner. The last one was mostly I'm curious about it and I sometimes drive in dusty environments.

Didn't get the national flag emblem. I sometimes miss that

I think everything else is better bought in the aftermarket.
Maybe the side steps are better bought in the aftermarket, that didn't exist much when I got my truck. If I'd buy them today I would get the rocksliders from buzz overland

Installation pricing is quite ambitious. I got OEM side steps 2 weeks ago (my wife love them). They charged me ½ hour work for fitting (84 US$ incl. tax). If I am not mistaken the same job would cost 435 US$ from your dealer.

You guys are driving me crazy! I took delivery 2 weeks before Ineos announced the promotion.
Flying from Chicago to Boise right now - let’s see those awesome builds, Idaho! (Without the free accessories). Seriously, svmaven - the aftermarket is SO MUCH BETTER!!! Alu-Cab, Blacksheep Innovations, Buzz Overland, Bison, ARB, Agile, Owl, Leitner - I could go on and on. UK, Switzerland, Poland, South Africa, Australia, US - the world is your playground. Not just what they can do at Lyle Pearson. Congrats on your delivery, go check out the build thread, and do it right the first time (instead of the way I did it, which was panic, buy a bunch of accessories, realize I didn’t really like them, and tear them out and replace them. Have fun!

This may sound a bit nuts given the money involved but I didn't mind so much the extra capital I spent on things that I ended up not using. Sure I hate to waste money but I learned a lot in the process.

Yeah and it keeps me occupied, which my wife appreciates. Not nuts - just an expensive way to learn (but let’s admit it - fun as damnit)
