What did you do with your Grenadier today?

If you mean this: https://www.theineosforum.com/media/img_7625-png.21588/ It comes from the post of @MattG here: https://www.theineosforum.com/threads/has-anyone-successfully-removed-the-centre-console-panel.12413859/page-2#post-1333243107 You can see two red screws, but there are also two...

Right Hand side auxiliary footwell 12V wire

Today I tested electrically the right side footwell auxiliary potential power point, and indeed: 12V, with PWR on and INT2 on on the "aviation" roof switch panel. Some pictures: Then I removed the tape around the wire, did cut the top of the transparent plastic protection hose of the wire...

    footwell illumination

When I removed part of the trim covers under the dashboard some weeks ago, I noticed some kind of “electric” device (see right side of the trim). Of course, I was curious. Clearly a small light to illuminate your toes ;) . Googling, it seems this company (TLC Redditch) makes lighting...

Build Thread Auxiliary USB charging point in auxiliary footwell power point

...is right, right is wrong, up is down, and so on. Jokes aside, let’s continue … I decided what destination I would give to the auxiliary footwell power point on the right side (passenger side) of my LHD car, actuated by the “INT2” roof panel switch. It is the side I would sometimes place a...

What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Yes, there are two in the footwell, in each car, one right, one left + one under the bonnet left + one with 3 wires, documented elsewhere under the rear seat, or for those with a utility car somewhere in the back middle of the battery compartment

Back at the dealer for 5 weeks - and counting

For the Safari window, it was a temporary fix: the driver side I did myself with Sikalastomer (I posted that) and the passenger side they did it by replacing the rubber and ... putting Sikalastomer! Apparently, next week they will replace the rubbers again.

What did you do with your Grenadier today?

The pin of the drain plug getting lost is a known problem, Ineos should do something about it. I think I was the first (but this isn't important) to report it somewhere end of May on this forum. Small problem, but for Ineos not important enough?

Any owners regret getting/not getting safari windows?

...my replacement of airco, because I hate airco. The water drain has at least two tubes: one from the roof to somewhere the middle of the footwell, and another from the footwell to the floor. The second one can get loose easily, but isn't that difficult to place back in its location, although...

What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Yes, indeed, but you have exactly the same at the other side!

What would you say if you could ?

...My dealer didn't answer my technical questions during my first year of ownership, I had to show them the additional 12V power wires in the footwell and under the hood (this has improved dramatically since I had a meeting with the staff about7 months ago). Quite some "early diseases", most but...

    Aux sockets.

The footwell outlets were found quite some time ago, but I don't remember by whom, but in this post from me you will see them: https://www.theineosforum.com/threads/auxiliary-usb-charging-point-in-auxiliary-footwell-power-point.12412359/ I will try to find the post I made concerning the "under...

    Wet feet

This is according to my experience most probably coming from a leak of the inner seals of the safari windows, I posted some pictures concerning this problem
  14. Jean Mercier

Any owners regret getting/not getting safari windows?

While going through my older pictures, I found one of the lower drain tube of the Safari windows, that I removed to try to located where my water infiltration comes from. Definitely NOT from that tube! The water on the footwell didn't come from (removing) the tube.

Has anyone successfully removed the Centre console panel?

If you mean the panel from the first picture in this thread: https://www.theineosforum.com/threads/footwell-illumination.12412846/#post-1333203939 then there are at least two screws, and the rest are clips. I don't remember if you need to remove another one before this one to be able to take it...

...by INT1 instead of EXT2 on the roof panel. Today I removed the 10A fuse FI28, and it deactivates power on the that roof connector, therefore no way to put a powerful lightbar there. Not my intention by the way. I am now wondering what the left hand auxiliary footwell PowerPoint is connected to!

...DTP roof connector right side front! Taking it off (with small damage, I mean one or two plastic pins slightly bent): first remove the "footwell step", or how is this called ("Trim Panel"), pull it straight up. Second, remove the floor mat, but first remove the plastic screw (in my case...

water in passenger footwell (RHD vehicle)

I had beginning of May a lot of rainfall in Belgium (that's our usual weather) and last two days some heavy rainfalls like in the UK and other parts of this part of Europe: no deluge when opening the doors, but yes some liquid in the cars footwell.
  29. Jean Mercier

What did you do with your Grenadier today?

I checked my rubber stops, they were glued on the right side. Well, well, clearly some Quality Assurance problems at Ineos Automotive. It rained a lot tonight. I have water infiltration, some drops again on the footwell.

What did you do with your Grenadier today?

removal of side panels driver side and using the auxiliary power point

Not that easy because: the wire is quite short (see my connector), but of course you can extend it by soldering or connecting another a wire to it. therefore (without extension) the only location is on that side panel (see arrow) but ... the space is very tight, see the red cross, I think you...

So where are all the first impressions? (right here)

Our coastline is about 100 km from the UK coast line, but luckily for us there is salt water between us, therefore I don't have the footwell problem. Distances are indeed very relative. When my ex Brazilian wife, mother of my kids arrived in Belgium in 1985 for the first time "out of her huge...

So where are all the first impressions? (right here)

...on your comments ... (modified numbering, see above) The rubber tube for the drain of the Safari windows on both sides [EDITED] OF THE FOOTWELL can become loose very easily, had that on my car before delivery, therefore the water could be from a loose tube. I also already experienced this...

What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Strange, but you should look for an electrical wire, attached with ordinary black isolation tape, the cable in a vertical position, with two semi transparent endings. Of course you have to remove the footwell sidewall before being able to see the wiring.

removal of side panels driver side and using the auxiliary power point

...It Yourself), and I didn’t find on this forum somebody who already did it, but perhaps I am wrong … I dismounted the Left-Hand Drive (LHD) footwell side panels (Driver side) with the intention to use the auxiliary power point (not yet documented by Ineos, but well bespoken on this forum...
