    Did the deal.. picked up my own abandoned order from March/April. Couple of glitches (stained cargo area) and spare tire rattle... and it needs to go back for seat covers/side runners.. Wife is very happy, I am happy, pretty good outcome.

    Yes I have the rattle. Solved it by cutting a piece of sleep mat foam to the size of the table and it sits inside the folded up table to stop rattling. It doubles up as a nice sitting pad too I guess!. Tried tightening all the fasteners but that didn't help.

    This is true, and also why I typically remove the bottom (using the quick release pin Hi-Lift offers) and store it with the other jack-related items inside the truck. I am considering jury-rigging a carrier made for Jeeps that specifically holds the bottom of the jack - want to see how it goes...

    ...back. Close the door. Open it again and tighten the screws. This adjusts the position quite well. When I pulled the plastic cover "down" I damaged the plastic. But it still holds and does not rattle. So the repair was worth it. Before, the "bongs" were driving me crazy. Now everything is fine.

    The 2” receiver has a 10mm nut welded on to the bottom so that a bolt can be screwed in to pinch the 2” bar. This eliminates any rattle. Just have a look underneath.

    Fitted my trusty old 1UP rack today. As expected the front tray is too close to the spare tire to be useful. Ha. Will get a receiver extension tube soon, probably the Kuat Hi Lo Pro (offset approx 10" back and 2" up) because it seems skookum enough and has an anti-rattle mechanism as does the 1UP.

    Metallic clanging resonance noise (it doesn’t shake the car) but only at certain rpm around 1800 rpm (mine was mild). But it’s now gone unless you go looking for it. If yours shakes the car. Then I would get the wheels rebalanced first.

    ...are aluminum and can be bent very easily away from the exhaust system. I look under regularly after off roading and had to move them twice, not sure if they got hung up on something or not. This would be a rattle sound but not the marble situation you described in the second part of the post.

    Like people have said add spacers or washers behind the rubber stopper. Also add rubber or felt tape on the extending arm joints because they rattle against the sides on big road bumps.

    It may help. I had the same issue when new so I got an allen key and ever so slight nip up the bolts on the dash. The squeaks and rattles on the dash will bed in over a few months. I don’t have a single rattle from the dash now. My only rattle is the camping table in the rear.
