    Ticking noise from back seat when using wipers.

    I would say it does. Under load, it makes more noise. It only makes a noise when it’s not straight (0 degrees angle). Too much fluid equals more pressure.     If you listen closely you will hear the pump when in operation. Is shoukd less that the engine noise. But if the PS pump noise is the dominant sound you can hear equal to or greater that the engine then you have dud pump.

    Good to hear it settled down for you. How many K's did that take? You can hear it across the street and when driving up to about 40kph. It's not totally obnoxious, but definitely noticeable. It's probably the high-pitched squeal that's annoying rather than the volume.

    I don't think the issue is that back cover because the noise stops when I apply the brakes. I suspect either a brake pad is dragging or there's something stuck in the brake pad, although I'm not seeing any uneven wear on the rotor. Strangely, I only hear the noise on one stretch of road.

    Sounds like Bowden cable rubbing against prop shaft. Look under car just above the prop shaft towards the front to see if it’s touching. It should be wrapped in aluminium conduit. Solution zip tie it back up because the original fixing is rubbish.

    When i sound deadened mine, there was definitely a reduction in overall noise levels and i was even able to reduce wind noise by adding sound absorbing material in the a-pillars. The boom may have slightly reduced but it is still there. I am interested in hearing your results
