That's a normal noise. I've checked 21 delivered gernadiers to Middle East and it comes from the power steering. Not a single car I've inspected doesn't have this noise.

If it was like my noise, (a chinkling sort of noise) , if you have a snorkel it could be the wind flowing past the top 5"or so. Our mechanic found the cause in my car. Push some foam into gap and see what happens. It fixed mine. I improved my foam placement to a more permanent fitting.

Here is how to replicate the bell noise... we believe it is caused by the steering damper cover. I took my Gren to a reputable shop to look it over and identify any issues before my appointment with the dealer (5 hrs away). There were a few other oddities we found.

Yes, pump is working. I was able to see better this morning. Hose came off the barb fitting. Easy fix. Fitting seems loose though, so will need to find a better fitting.

I believe the really annoying high frequency noise on fan level 4 is universal, pretty sure they all do that. First rule of Grenadier HVAC usage is turn off auto, second rule is don’t use fan setting 4. One of the many unique experiences of Grenadier ownership (but I still luvs it).

Have not heard anything like that on all the vehicles I’ve heard in Australia. To me it sounds like a belt, bearing or possibly a pump noise - I would definitely say not normal.

This is the exact noise in this video clip which I can replicate by thumping the spring directly. Closing the rear cargo door causes the same rattle. I can wedge a finger between the coils near the top of the spring and have someone else close the door and no rattling occurs but you can feel...

That is the anti rattle tape fitted, just apply wherever there is going to be a metal to metal interface, and like magic your noise has gone. Much more simple than many of the other proposals which don't work at best. Anti Rattle tape available on Amazon.

I haven't noticed any significant increase in noise over no rack tbh. I did get a slight whistle once but seemed to be a combination of wind direction and speed about 80kph. So far only happened once and I've done reasonable hours at freeway speeds.

A/C noise is most likely the fan (passenger side front) and is also super loud on mine. Dealer checked it and noted it as normal. Very loud almost howling sound. Only does it when weather is over 90 and worse when humidity is high.

Yes , the noise seems to come from a fan that is near the small radiator in front of the passenger side front wheel , which I assume is for the a/c system.

Heard "noises" from the rear door area and discovered that the plate which anchors the gas strut to the cargo floor was loose! Tightening the plate fasteners cured the noise. Check also the door latches and whether they need to be adjusted to provide more compression on the door seals when...

Agree. It's a bit obnoxious with the windows down and in a garage. Even pulled up to some friends on the sidewalk to say hi, and the first thing they asked was "Whats that noise?"

I have the crossbars and can attest that they are very quiet, maybe not silent but no whistle or anything. A little more wind noise with the awning and tent but those won’t be living there all the time.

I think I had a similar/same issue yesterday (Sunday) in the hunter valley NSW, doing around 30-40km/hr on a dirt road, massive bang and turning thudding noise. My Ineos did have the transfer case recall and it was replaced at 15k service. Tow truck to Gosford dealer, waiting to see what they say.
