On certain MY23 and MY24 vehicles, incorrect non locking steering rod balljoint nuts may have been used during assembly instead of a locking nut whichcould result in the nut becoming loose over time or potentially result in a lostnut condition. If the nut loosens to the point at which it becomes lost, thesteering rod ball joint can become uncoupled from the steering knuckle.
