What do you use on bolts/screws to stop corrosion, galling and seizing?

This topic arose in the thread on installing Custom Offroad Diff Protectors. I thought it deserved its own thread.

I use Tef-Gel to stop corrosion, galling and seizing of bolts and screws. It is non-toxic, but it is not cheap to buy. It has an extended shelf life so I probably will not need to buy it again. Sometimes I use Marine Goop to stop screws or bolts coming loose, mostly inside the car (but it is fine to use outside).

@Rok_Dr uses copper grease and @Krabby used anti-seize grease.

Post what product you use.

RESULTS (as at 15 January 2025):
AF-50 1 (corrosion)
Amazing Goop 1
Anti-seize Grease 1
Copper Grease 5
Fluid Film 1 (corrosion)
LPS 1 (corrosion)
MAKO Oil 1 (corrosion - all natural product)
Moly Grease 1
Tel-Gel (called Ultra Tef Gel in the US) 2 (anti-galling, corrosion and seizing)
Triflow Synthetic Grease 1

Various greases are taking a strong lead early on. Tef Gel next and then a variety of products for specific tasks.

Daily for work my normal go to is both Nickel or Copper Anti-seize but if the fastener is in dissimilar metals, like boat motors, and is constantly exposed to salt water or some acidic environments, I like to use a non-metallic marine anti-seize or a common water-proof grease as some of the metallic based antiseize can cause galling and seizing later when removing the fastener. I also regularly use whatever is in the grease gun, normally a moly grease fixing tractors, it works as well and is cheaper than anti-seize.

'alright copper' grease most of the time.
otherwise as said above what ever is in the gun incase awkward to apply.
 
Copper grease. For corrosion protection I use Fluid Film, or for spot application (like all the black oxide torx bolts on the Gren) I’ll use a drop of Triflow.

Seriously - that was me. Tef-Gel seems like a neater idea going forward.
 
Try LPS products. They have different formulas for different applications. It's used heavily in the aviation community.
 
Added MAKO Oil and nature based anti-corrosion product. Like most of the .anti-corrosion products it application is broader than using it on bolts/screws.
