Speak to your employer, if caused be an obstruction at 6'7" when clearly signed 7' foot then that is employers liability. It is one that should be dealt with via their insurers. The only issue would/will be the excess on their public liability insurance. Don't know about US but UK companies carry a very big excess to keep costs down. And some big companies self insure. So talk to them first ( in a friendly manner)
