My garage at work is supposed to accommodate any car under 7 feet. Turns out, a rogue bolt in one parking spot hangs down to about 6'7 and dented the front corner of my roof. I think the roof is part of the chassis and doesn't look like it can be replaced. Does this look like something that a dent repair shop could pull out?

Yikes! I would doubt it being in a corner like that but perhaps its able to be accessed from underneath and malleted out?

Yes. that will come out.

Ytry a painless repair but the head lining will need to come out .
BTW 7 feet is 7 feet in any language .

If there's a sign saying 7' height limit, you can probably claim damages from the owner to cover the cost of repair.

If the building is owned by your employer that might be awkward though.

Unfortunately, I was borrowing my buddy's parking pass, as I only have valet access. So technically, I wasn't supposed to be parking in the building. Doubt I can get the building to chip in under those circumstances.

Speak to your employer, if caused be an obstruction at 6'7" when clearly signed 7' foot then that is employers liability. It is one that should be dealt with via their insurers. The only issue would/will be the excess on their public liability insurance. Don't know about US but UK companies carry a very big excess to keep costs down. And some big companies self insure. So talk to them first ( in a friendly manner)
