I'm Scott Vlastnik, owner of Sprinter Pitstop in San Diego. We’ve recently expanded our services to include the INEOS Grenadier, and we’ve got a beautiful new Grenadier Trialmaster. This vehicle is a an absolute powerhouse, and it’s been an exciting journey to build great solutions for it.


We’ve partnered with Radflo to design a new suspension kit with steering stabilizer specifically for the Grenadier. This system is made in the USA and is now available both for sale and for installation at our shop. Curious as to the benefit of this on a stock Grenadier?

Likewise, what does "reduce steering wheel feedback" mean?
I understand the theory of reserve res shocks and on corrugations they may be better for the life of them, but the factory units are pretty robust.

I replaced the stock setup with this kit and it was a night and day difference in terms of ride experience, especially at higher speeds. Much less play and drift with steering. Ride height increased 2" helps with offroad clearance. And the ability to adjust stiffness for road vs. trail use has been awesome.

Interesting, I haven't noticed any drift or play with my Grenadier.

Is there a numerical comparison in dampening between the OEM steering stabilizer and the Radflo?
Some feedback from Radflo:

We have a simple dyno chart of force generated vs speed of compression/rebound, but the speed is so slow for turning that the forces generated are low until a large bump or rock is hit so this doesn't necessarily answer the question.

Compared to the stock steering damper, slower speeds such as steering inputs generate a higher force and provide a tighter steering feeling, without making the steering wheel difficult to turn.
This also increases control when rock crawling or having 1 wheel in the air at a time, as it will keep the steering wheel from jerking out of your hands.

The small left/right forces due to chatter, small rocks, or other obstacles are damped better, providing less feedback in the steering wheel when traveling fast over rougher terrain (Rough streets, Fire roads, trails, etc). This helps keep the vehicle tracking straight, increasing control.

Finally, if a large rock, bump, or other obstacle is hit with the front wheels, especially if only one makes an impact, this is a higher speed input and a massive force can be generated. This is then translated into all steering components including the steering wheel.
The Radflo Steering Damper absorbs these forces, ramping up to generate the necessary amount of force to protect steering components and the driver.
