My son is a dealer and was at the Manheim Riverside wholesale auction this week. There was a Grenadier that went through. He didn’t have the option details on it but it sold for $69k. Just offering a data point.

It is so hard to understand the price without the spec details. It makes such a huge difference, as well all know! A lot of the inventory on dealers lots are spec’d kind of ridiculous for the purpose of this vehicle. A bare bones Ineos just isn’t that desirable.

I would argue that because Ineos doesn’t really differentiate between models that at auction/at the used car lot, they aren’t going to be much differences between a base, field master or Trialmaster. They aren’t going to give the $5k for the winch, $2.5k for lockers, nothing for the frame color, or anything really dealer added.

One of my Broncos was totaled in May, it was ugly with the insurance company. At the end of the day, they were only offering $500 more because it was a hardtop over a softop. They really did care that it was a base or a badlands.

You won’t see a $20k spread from base to top of the line at auction… I am guessing you would be lucky to see $5k. no one can decipher the options from the window sticker.

Based on my experience with my Bronco, I went with an agreed value policy versus an actual cash value policy.

The only ones who will know/take the time are an Ineos dealer.

Dealers have quite a bit of overhead just to get the car on the lot, much less get it sold. That $69K can turn in to $75K in real costs pretty quick.
