Any owners regret getting/not getting safari windows?

Don't ask me to point to specific posts, but there's been several comments related to the safari windows and not sealing/leaking. The fact that Ineos have brought out a revised seal and possibly still doing more work on it also tells a story.
Yeah, ive seen those comments, but not anything that suggested water anywhere that wasnt more likely either door seals or aircon. Of course its always a candidate. Thanks for the photo of the drain, i must have missed that, sometimes i cant check in for a week or so. I had read that the drain was suspected to flow out in various places, is there anything definite on where it goes, and if its tube/channel/ metal plastic etc?

I don't have the windows on mine so can't check the drain routing.

Owner on FB reporting a leak 3 days in. Reports seem intermittent so maybe it's a QA thing.

Am I looking too hard or does the seal seem to extend further into the cabin on the corner of that window than on the straighter section of the window?
Looks like the culprit. Dealer attempted fix but unsuccessful.

my other car is a old defender 300tdi with the front vents, and i love these, essential in that car in the summer season.. i was worried that i would miss these in the IG, i don't like too much ventilators and AC running , but the safari windows replaced these vents completely - very happy with them, also the extra space and light are big plusses

I have the safari windows combined with the full roof rack.
On the plus side they provide a feeling of space in the cabin and still allow some light in.
On the negative side the roof rack generates significant noise and the safari windows provide little sound insulation. It’s really noisy above 50mph post fitting of the roof rack.
The solution may be to fit a wind fairing but the standard Rhino units that are available on the internet don’t appear as though they’ll be a great fit with the front sloping roof of the Grenadier and the safari window seals. I’m hoping that Rhino have a solution soon. It’s a shame that a compatible wind fairing was not available direct from IA as unfortunately the roof rack will have to come off in order to fit it.

Is it true that with the full rack, the safari windows cannot be opened?

My Series LR scuttle vents are priceless! I have a sunroof in my current Honda that creates great airflow when used with the rear glass window. The Honda also has a solid sunshade that I could not live without.

IG Content: I’m 6’4” and purposely test drove a Gren without safari’s. I had plenty of headroom and a nice open feeling. I ordered the full roof rack and no safaris.

Personal preferences really I hate sunroofs in normal cars and never use them, but on the Grenadier they seemed quirky and somehow right, calling them safari windows was a good marketing move it makes 2 small sunroofs seem way more sexy and adventurous! Overall I like then and in truth use them quite a bit at lower speeds and they are very easy just to pop open when you need them quicker and better that electric buttons. On balance I'm glad I got them, ask me again in the winter!

I'm skipping them, one less thing to worry about. Its plenty bright in Texas so the lack of a cover for them would be less ideal during the summer.

No grizzlies here, neither meters of snow, but I love the safari windows, it's my replacement of airco, because I hate airco.

The water drain has at least two tubes: one from the roof to somewhere the middle of the footwell, and another from the footwell to the floor. The second one can get loose easily, but isn't that difficult to place back in its location, although somewhat unhandy and no sight, it has to be by feeling it. When I get my car back, I will try to make some pictures (if I remember) of the second tube.
