Went to the Troy experience today. What a lot of fun and such a good vehicle!

I also attended the event in Troy, NC today. It was well run and the driving course was a decent little exhibition for the Grenadier prototypes. I was impressed by the fit and finish of the PT02 vehicles, and came away with a positive outlook for the vehicle as a whole. The engine/transmission were smooth and powerful and the 4WD system in low range did not slip much even in some mud left over from the early-day rain. Low and 1st gear held very calmly down steep hills without hill decent control and stopping on a very steep uphill there was no problem regaining momentum-a credit to the tires and the low end torque.

They did mention mid-May as the time for pricing announcement for the North American market, and that the online configurator would be live soon afterward. There was hope that early deliveries to the US would be before the end of December with most other “early” reservations coming in the early months of ‘24.

I was there yesterday too. Had a great time, was worth the 4 hour drive (each way). At 6'5 I was more worried about leg/foot room than probably most are. I was happy to have plenty of leg room, the footwell space could be a little bigger but it was fine when I was driving around. My "problem" is I'm used to modern full size trucks, which are basically limos lol. Anyhow, loved driving it, loved the view from the drivers seat, loved the comfort of those Recaro seats too. Would be cool if the rear seats could slide back a few inches, for me I'd like the option to sacrifice a tad of cargo for the people who have to sit behind me. But my wife sat there and said it was fine. I was also pretty surprised how well they rode on the track, and ours walked it without even breaking a sweat. Pretty cool. Will see what the price comes in at, but I'm ready to put my order in. Such a cool and unique vehicle.

I was there on Thursday and also 6'5. I adjusted the driver's seat how I would like to ride and then sat in the second row behind my adjusted seat. I surprisingly had about an inch of room between my knees and the driver seat. Normally when someone sits behind me I'm always at moving my driver seat farther forward but I don't have to in this vehicle. I was very impressed.

I couldn't sit behind myself, but I did inch the seat up a notch during the drive so maybe. But I'm pretty leggy. I also don't really expect most behicles to be able to sit 2 6'5" people in tandem. Although our Traverse does a pretty good job. If it ends up being a problem, if I end up with one, maybe I'll look into sliding the rear seats back a bit or something. But I don't envision this being the vehicle we take with the entire family on a 1000 mile road trip. If that was more the primary chore, I'd be looking at an X7, or using my RAM 1500. Anyhow, cool that another tall guy fit well in it. What did you think of it and the drive?
