My dealer has just rung me to tell me that my Grenadier is marked ready for "Transport" from Hambach. They have been advised to be ready to receive it and he is muttering that they have been ready since June!

He also made a throwaway comment about the software update, "idle stabilisation, to keep emissions low", anyway supposed not to be a big deal. More irritating, I cannot put my personal plate on from day one, it will have a "23" plate on first.
Was there a specific reason you couldn’t put your personal plate on it from outset?

Been discussed already. Ineos haven’t set up the online registering of vehicles and are doing it themselves manually, so all UK vehicles will be preregistered before you get them and that is with a number plate

I cancelled my order on 27 February. Acknowledgement received 28 February telling me that the refund would be within 14 days. Full refund received 6 March. Well done Ineos Grenadier. Good luck to all who stick with it.
hi

martinjmknight

how was your refund sent to you, I requested mine on the 9th March but still haven't heard from anyone requesting refund details.

New Land Rover Defender 400e PHEV. Deposit paid. Wait 5 - 8 months (3 - 6 months plus 2 months for towbar).

Hope it turns out alright for you (y)

I know some people who have had no issues, and some people that have had nothing but aggro with them, luck of the draw I guess.

If I was to get fed up of the Grenadier project, id go for something stress free and reliable like a Toyota :ROFLMAO:

...then again, they're not perfect

Me too that was my 2nd choice, but will give the Grenadier a spin and see how it pans out, can always chop it in, or if its a smile machine keep it for the next 10 years !
