Not sure I've seen these mentioned here, so I thought I'd post links to the Method Race Wheels - Bead Grip series for those interested in fitting alloys to their IG.

The three following wheel styles are available in the correct bolt pattern, wheel dia, wheel width, offset, hub dia and would be a direct fit for the IG.

17" x 7.5", PCD 6 x 130, +50mm offset (the wheel will move outboard 5mm from stock), Hub bore 84mm.

There is probably several of their normal non bead-grip wheels that should also fit without problem too.

I have the 703's on my Ranger Raptor, never rolled the bead off but I also haven't pushed it that hard so I can't say how well they hold the tyre on any better than the stock wheels. I got them for the little bit of insurance against rolling the bead off when I'm out on the track alone.

They do come in the basic silver and gold colours too.

IMHO overpriced for what is only going to maybe give you a slight resistance to losing your bead, and made in China to boot. If I want overpriced wheels I can at least get something with some pedigree and quality from OZ Racing. Short of actual bead lock wheels your best bet is to learn how to re-seat your bead.

Limited options in OZ racing wheels, think there is only one that fits (Rally Raid?).
I might be wrong but load rating on the Method is around 1600kg vs 1200kg on the OZ?

I think you're right Shop, 1600 vs 1200 and I could only find one site that says the 18" Rally Raid fits the IG, all other sites I looked at do not show it fitting 6 x 130 so I'm not sure if it fits the IG at all. I could be wrong, I'd need to keep searching.

Maybe some old Speedline's or Compomotive's might fit! ;)

I have wasted many hours looking for steel and alloy 4x4 wheel options in 17” in standard width, only off the shelf options I found are Method, Black Rhino and Nomad. Some of the options look great in zero or negative offset but when they use around +50 it kills the look. I like the Nomad and Method, hopefully other options will develop over time.

Other option is to go custom made.

What about the ones that come with the vehicle?

Agree. The methods at that high offset look hideous

There are a number of alloys that'll fit, with new ones coming along steadily:

Bolt pattern is the same as on MB / Freightliner / Dodge Sprinter 906.

A small choice:

RIAL Transporter 6,5 + 7,0 x 17 +57-62
ALUTEC Titan 7x17 +57
ALUTEC Titan 7,5x17 +55
AUTEC Quantro 7x17 +57
BROCK RC 31 7x17 +55
BORBET CH 7x717 +55
TOMASON TN1F 7,5x17 +60
MAK King 6 7,5x17 +55
MAK Peak 7,5x17 +55
DELTA 4x4 WP 8x17 +50
DELTA 4x4 Klassik 8x17 +50

For steel wheel fans:

Mercedes A 9074016000. 7x17 +55 $110,- aftermarket..

Technically, the slight difference in offset is not an issue, here the permitted offset is 50-62mm. With the Grenadier it has yet to been seen, what is permissible and/or viable. Also, certain jurisdictions worry more about wheels and their specs, than others...

Method's bead grip technology REALLY works. I have them on my heaviest rig (11,100lbs GVW) and they've been a good quality wheel (yes, made in China, but difficult to get away from that on most wheels anymore).
Many of my friends are heavy into LandCruisers, on big tires. Not all of them, but many of them have the bead grip's and they really do work at retaining the tire bead. That being said, if you're smart about how you drive, even 3psi in the snow on a 40" tire will have no issues retaining the bead, even WITHOUT a beadlock rim like a Hutchinson double beadlock (had those on my G and can't recommend them anymore; they couldn't even make hubcentric wheels = vibrations, plus they're quite heavy :( ).

IMHO, true double beadlocks are really only needed if you're running in the King of the Hammers where you're balls out all the time.

Regarding Compomotives, I have the PD1881's on my Rover and they're stout, but they are SOOOO damn heavy. Personally I don't think I'd spring for them again.

Method's are higher quality than Black Rhino's from my experience on Sprinters.
One of the more premier wheels, and champions in Dakar Rally '23, with lots of custom options including fully forged wheels, would be Braid from Spain; https://braidusa.com/collections/all-wheels/trucks-suvs-vans+6-x-130

And here's another wheel option we have experience with, and with optional Apex quick release valves. Downside is a very aggressive offset for the IG; https://owlvans.com/collections/wheels/products/owl-talon-wheels

For those who question the effectiveness of Method bead grip rims, with respect to how hard it is break the tire beads off the rim, then have a look at this Video here @4:30 mark. Watch when they attempt to break the bead off the rim to change the tires on his Method wheels and note how difficult it is even when using a professional tire machine.

Saw this awesome International Scout with Methods at the Reno Air Race in 2019, guy who owned it wanted to swap it for a plane.

Looks good but I bet it rides like a piece of crap.
High lift ill either have very soft springs for maximum wheel articulation or super stiff for maximum teeth jarring.
Short wheelbase and that heavy winch will have it moving like a seesaw or pendulum.

Owl Vans makes a great looking wheel. I will most likely be going with them.
