So we stopped by this dealer today to take another look at the Grenadier and we had the worst experience ever. The guy ther never got off his chair, never attempted to say hi, zero, I tried to engage and mention I had a preorder, he just looked at me like I was a huge burden. The showroom is 2 small rooms, we were there for over 5 minutes and he never bothered to ask us anything. Not a hello, not a "would you like to see one", zero. I had to go over and "interrupt" his conversation with a few seated blokes (at least one of which had an Ineos badge as well). I asked if the unit on the showroom was unlocked, he said probably, so I just showed myself around for 15-20 minutes. He never once got up or came over. Maybe they expect appointments or something, but I'll say this, zero chance I'd ever buy from that place after that. Hands down the most cold and uninvited I've ever felt at any dealer. If the "real" sales guy was out, or whatever, all he had to do was say something. I wasn't looking for a test drive/ride/history of Ineos lecture, just a "sure, go ahead and look around". So we looked around anyhow. The sad part is I've heard other forum members had a great experience there, including a test ride, so I went into it thinking that'd be at least "normal", IE would at least assume a family of 4 walking into the dealership may be interesting in plunking down $90k USD for their damn SUV.
