Media starting to break that production of the IG is going to be paused until 2025 due to financial troubles at one of its suppliers. The UK dealers were just told and mine told me today but I didn't post anything until I saw it starting to appear in the media. I cant see behind the paywall but I wonder if this is recaro?

I had an interesting chat with a senior member of Ineos Australia last night . Amongst other things the UK Article regarding higher pricing and more up market/specialty versions came up. It was stressed that this related primarily to the UK.....copy paste from the chat below. In a recently done interview with Lynn Calder she questions the agency sales model, which is in place in some (not all) countries. This model was choosen by many manufacturers when there were more demand for cars, then it is now. More and more OEMS turn away from the agency model. When asked what Calder would do differently with the next vehicle, the conversation quickly turns to the topic of distribution and the journey of the Grenadier to the customer. Depending on the market, Ineos currently sells its vehicles through dealers (as in Germany), direct sales via the agency model, or through a general importer.
