I am considering a Wolfbox Camera system. Mrs C is willing to buy me one for Christmas
But I admit to being technically incompetent. Does anyone know of an installer in Scotland?

Not sure if the deal in W/B, but aware they have worked on IGs...so Skidz in Falkirk would be worth a callI am considering a Wolfbox Camera system. Mrs C is willing to buy me one for ChristmasBut I admit to being technically incompetent. Does anyone know of an installer in Scotland?
@AndyT has posted very good instructions on how to fit it in the wolfbox thread .I am considering a Wolfbox Camera system. Mrs C is willing to buy me one for ChristmasBut I admit to being technically incompetent. Does anyone know of an installer in Scotland?
Tony - Have you had the wolfbox fitted? And if so, how is the workmanship?I am considering a Wolfbox Camera system. Mrs C is willing to buy me one for ChristmasBut I admit to being technically incompetent. Does anyone know of an installer in Scotland?
Cool thank you! I live down a farm track so bumper mounted wouldn't work as the camera will be covered in mud/dust in no time. I'll speak to them about door mounting it when I go in next. Thanks.Oh thanks!! Yep. Fitted last Monday. Its all good. I cant specify cost as the invoice included a service. Total labour £594. 4.5 hours apparently. May be quicker niw they’ve done one.
Workmanship is fine. Camera mounted on the rear bumper. I hadn’t specified, but had assumed it would be at the top if the door.
Weird at first as it was set on forward view. Soon corrected. Then more weirdness as it was giving a true view rather than a mirror view! Now set up is complete, all is good.
No regrets.![]()
Thanks Tom,I've fit a few of these Wolfbox's on Grenadiers now, I place the rear camera in the centre of the larger door at the top. I tend to take around 3-4 hours for the install as I won't allow more than a foot of wire to be free. I would highly recommend using the extended wire for the rear camera to the front though as you can fall short of a nice route by about 9 inches!
Let me know if I can help in any way. Or if anyone is interested in having the Wolfbox fitted (or plenty of other great accessories), I'm located in Carlisle just south of the border.
Tom
Do you completely lose the ability to view the rear camera? If so, it seems like a defect in the feed line from the camera to the screen. If it has been trapped anywhere or the connector hasn't quite an ample grip, it could play havoc on the image being sent. Thanks Tom,
Yesterday the system went mad again, defaulting to the forward camera. Not being technically minded, I am at a bit of a loss. I thought I had narrowed it down to a glitch with one of my trailers electronics. Apparently not. A replacement rear camera is on its way, so maybe I take Wolfboxes advice and get the rear camera replaced. Having paid for 4.5 hrs labour already to have this fitted, that is not an exciting prospect!
Anyway, I'm back on the mainland in a month or so....
You can’t call Lewis Hamilton a Gremlin!I use "weird" so often, I'd like it to be technical terminology. Electrical gremlins are not a myth! I could have sworn I've seen one on a 4 day wiring fault back at Mercedes![]()
