Towing Hitch Install in Phoenix?

Hello fellow IG owners in PHX. Our Grenadier is arriving tomorrow from Rusnak in Pasadena. Has anyone had a tow hitch installed locally?…or had it installed at a dealership after purchase? Rusnak said they still don’t have the software update that allows them to install and that a universal tow package is in the works that can be installed at dealership as aftermarket but they are unsure on timing. Any insight or suggestions on solutions appreciated.

Hi Ed, Jeff here from Cottonwood.

My Grenadier came from the Mossy Dealer in San Diego. I needed a receiver hitch on my truck for only my bike rack and it was installed at the dealer. But they had no wiring harnesses to install a complete trailer towing package and as I understand they aren’t available as an aftermarket product currently at Ineos dealers.
Locally here in Phx, I would confer with Jason Hahn at Eurosport in Phx about a custom hitch and wiring harness for your truck. They may be able to source the receiver hitch from Mossy. They are the best here.

We have a dealer coming to Peoria but I don’t think it’s open yet. You may want to check as the dealers probably have the receiver hitches.

i purchased mine around the first of the year from red nolan in colorado springs. i did have to wait for the factory hitch to pass us standards but i think in March 2024, it came in and they installed it. two weeks ago, i was driving through and they did have a software update for me, so i'm assuming that was the 2nd update since mine was installed. hope this helps. i will be nice once the peoria dealership opens up. i have 13k miles on mine so far and still love the Grenadier. hope you have many adventures with it.

Thanks for the response. Agreed, will be nice once Peoria opens…I’m going to try to wait til then to get the tow package installed. Glad to hear you’re still enjoying yours 13K miles in….i was able to take mine out for a quick drive this afternoon and was grinning the whole time. I think this vehicle will be a lot of fun and provide plenty of adventures for the family.

I bought one from the net. It's a bolt-on and I will add a flat-four wiring harness. I don't need the big nato plug with the 500 amp powered connection,
