I drove about 20 miles down the beach last week. No problems driving in the Gren. It was super windy so keep your doors and windows shut to keep sand out of the vehicle. Surf fishing in the water was difficult due to conditions. If you want to fish conditions are better to do it with a 9-12 ft surf rod and 3-4 oz spider weight. Use cut mullet or half a crab. Wade out about 100 yards, cast, and walk your rod back to the beach. Put the rod in a holder, drink a beer, and wait for the rod to bend! BTW conditions are fine to drive all the way to the Mansfield cut if you want to do that. Make sure you start with a full tank of gas.
