I have to apologise for not realising this sub group of the forum existed, but now I've found you its obvious there are a lot more Grenny Owners north of the border than I appreciated.

I've had my Utility wagon for 2 years in May but its not seen much use - due to health and family stuff getting in the way.

Anyway cutting to the chase, I've been working to organise a Grenadier Gathering this summer with the NW England FB group. Basically a meetup & stay of owners; vehicle and life banter, campfires, stargazing, activities for those so inclined.
Ideal for rooftop tent or ground tent, but more comfortable options available for those wanting a few more comforts.

More info at the link below, but key info:

Date: 6/7/8th June 2025
Location: Gorsebank, DG54QT Dumfries & Galloway.

If you'd like to book on still places available or if you have questions please drop us a message.

Thanks Best regards
Paul

Just checked my diary - sorry, I can't join you this time, I have guests over from canada :(

Additional thought: If this event happens again in the future, and the dates work, I can provide Archery as an activity.

That would have been excellent. As a budding young Robin Hood my mother always made sure the rubber suckers were always fitted to my arrows.

Great idea Paul, unfortunately I will be unable to make it.
No worries. Sorry for the delayed response the power has only just come back after 6 days in the dark, huddled around the log burner with the camp stove. My 'preppers' larder of canned soup has taken a hit.

The food vans eventually arrived here Tuesday night...you have to feel for the folk organising them. The social media comments were along the lines of:

"Oh that's great I've already eaten"
"How am I going to get to the van, are you putting on taxis's"
"Ridiculous, not a single vegan option on that menu"
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I was chatting to a guy from Dalwhinnie i the Aviemore Aldi car park over Christmas, he was telling me about a local meeting where they were being encouraged to have the modern eco friendly electric heating and his question was, what happens when the electric goes off, they were blank.
The reality of living remote are very different to those who don't.

In same vein, people who could would use gas cylinder cooker and prepared food for others. It's still a community where you speak to and help each other. Far more pleasant places to be than any city.
