Today I took ‘Maggie’ on her first proper trip. From home, across Scotland, to Inverurie. I was getting well satisfied with 23mpg (petrol, not diesel) - until I hit very heavy traffic on the A9, then sitting at 68mph for a fair distance on the A90. Came down to around 21mpg. Interesting.

The A9 I think is one of the most picaresque drives I’ve ever done on a main road I the Uk. Well done Coullabus. I hope you got some great photos.

Say my first ‘Grenadier in its natural habitat’ yesterday! Meaning not a picture and not a garage…. So if you were in Bridge of Alan, Scotland, driving a dark red Grenadier on Saturday morning and a Britannia blue Grenadier came past flashing its lights….. guilty. :)
