Range Rover Classic 1990 Turbo D in California
Hello,
I’m casually looking for a new home for my RRC. It has the original Turbo-D 2.4 VM engine, which, as you might expect, is as slow as molasses. Its original 0-60 time was 18.1 seconds. Today, it needs a gentle slope to reach 65 mph.
On a more serious note, if you’re a forum member and genuinely interested, the price is very negotiable. I imported the vehicle from southern Spain and registered it in CA under the exemption for classic diesel vehicles. Translation: you’ll never need to smog it.
It’s a five-speed manual, with working A/C, interior lights, and even power mirrors (slow, but functional!). Zero rust, new paint, a fresh headliner, and reupholstered seats. The only major issue is that both door locks are currently inoperative. Mileage is around 200k miles (330k kilometers).
The car is currently in Sacramento with my car broker, you can find the ad in Facebook Marketplace in Sacramento searching for "range rover classic". The cylinder heads and gaskets were replaced four years ago, and recent work includes a new hydraulic clutch, steering pump, and thermostat. I love this car, and the only reason I’m selling is that I made a promise to my wife when I bought my Grenadier.
Help me spread the word. Thanks, everyone!
